It is that time of the year. Everything we have been working toward happens this week. Come celebrate with us and all your Plainview friends at the banquet, this Sunday July 17, 2022.

You have only 2 days left to RSVP for the banquet by Wednesday July 13. Forms are located in the socials box at practice. We will not be able to accommodate late minute payments or walk ups. I can’t wait to celebrate the end of the season.

Below is the timeline for the 11 and up (Older Kids) Quals. Heat Sheets and additional Information will be available shortly and posted to the “Media” section here as well as emailed out.

3:30-4pm Warmup at Plainview
4pm-4:15pm decorate cars & Caravan to DH
3:45pm Tent Setup
4;15pm AGP Show up
4:30pm Swimmer Check-In
4:50-5:10 Warmup at DH (Starts/Turns)
6:00pm Meet Starts

Dive Champs is this Sunday July 10th!
The meet Starts at 8:30 am
Approximate warm up times are:
6/8 7:45,
10’s 9:15,
12’s 11:00,
14’s 1:00,
18’s 2:30.

These times are an educated guess. We will keep Facebook updated on Sunday and you can see how the meet is going and where we are time wise. Each age group is given 45 minutes to warm up.

I try to run the dual meets with as few volunteers as possible. I like for the families to be able to relax and watch their kids dive. However, for Champs the dive team needs a little help!

Sunday morning I need some volunteers to be in charge of tent set up. We will set up two of our big Plainview tents and a smaller one to put the judges under with six chairs.

For each age group I need one person to work the table. We are using the computer for Champs so we may not need the help, but I may need one worker so I want to be prepared.

At the end of the meet I need volunteers to take the tents down and help clean up.

After Champs we will go somewhere for dinner. Location will be announced Sunday at the meet.

One reminder from JTown. Any non pool members who want to swim on Sunday will need to purchase a guest pass.
